Julie & Evan's Cypress Hills Wedding
Julie & Evan’s wedding started out at The Resort at Cypress Hills on this past cool October Saturday. The 2ft of snow the Cypress Hills received buried the Amphitheatre so this couple improvised with having their ceremony in their reception room. It was such a nice touch to have live music playing for their ceremony.
Officially Mr & Mrs!!!
The bridge at the Resort served as a good dry spot for family photos, then we braved the cool temperatures with the bridal party for a few of these photos, this was as close to the lodgepole pines we ventured with all the snow and ladies in heels but how sweet is this groom carrying his beautiful little bride over the snowbanks!
This beautiful bridal party was so fun to work with, and they made the best of the weather, it was perfect snowball weather…
The cold weather seemed to just melt away when these two looked at each other!!!
Back to The Resort at Cypress Hills for the reception…
This father daughter dance had me all kinds of emotional. They played “I loved her first” by Heartland…
…especially when he puts up his finger at the groom to gesture “first” and I’m pretty sure I saw a tear roll out of his eye! The groom comes down to steal his bride away from her father, but Julie’s father makes him wait for it a little but finally hands his baby girl over to her new husband and I’m sure he says a secret prayer in his heart that she will be in good hands as he walks away! Oh my goodness…to be so loved Julie is such a gift!!!
Many thanks to everyone who contributed so much to make Julie & Evan’s day a success including family and friends who helped behind the scenes!!!
